Privacy notice
Plain version, no legalese.
What KØNTACT collects
Nothing. KØNTACT has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no storage. The free Check runs entirely in your browser. We never see the domains you check — there is no "we" on the receiving end.
What your browser sends, and to whom
To answer a Check, your browser sends DNS queries for the domain to public DNS resolvers — Cloudflare first, Google as fallback. Those resolvers necessarily see the domain being looked up, exactly as they would if you visited the domain's website. This is inherent to how DNS works, not something KØNTACT adds.
What never happens
- No cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.
- Checked domains are never transmitted to KØNTACT, KØNB1T, or any third party beyond the DNS resolvers above.
- Downloaded reports are generated locally on your device.
